Sachse Library Earns Excellence in Libraries Award

Mayor Mike Felix and Dolores Greenwald, Director of Library Services, accepted the 2006 Excellence in Libraries Award from the Texas Municipal Library Director's Association President Joyce Baumbach during the June 18, 2007 City Council meeting. The Sachse Public Library is honored to receive the 2006 Excellence in Libraries Award.
Sachse Library Board members and Friends of the Library members were on hand when the Excellence in Libraries Award was presented to the Sachse Public Library.

The Public Library courteously provides fair, impartial, and equal access to information that meets the recreational, informational, and educational needs of the community

Library Hours

Monday - Thursday 12pm-8pm*
Friday 12pm - 6pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm

*Library hours are 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm Monday thru Thursday. The Library will open early on Thursdays for special programs only. It will not be open to the general public until 12:00 noon.
